Our management team

Hon. Ugochukwu Aghazie

GENERAL MANGER/DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

Mission Statement

As General Manager of Eastern Waste Management Company (EWAMAC), my mission is to champion a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable Imo State by restoring its lost glory as the cleanest state in Nigeria. We are committed to enforcing responsible waste management, promoting recycling, and unlocking the waste-to-wealth potential that lies in proper disposal systems.

By turning waste into opportunities for economic growth, employment, and innovation, EWAMAC seeks to protect public health while creating value for our communities. Our mission is to lead by example—building a culture where environmental cleanliness is not just a duty but a shared pride of every citizen.

Vision Statement

My vision is to see Imo State not only reclaim its status as the cleanest state and city in Nigeria but also rise as a national model of environmental sustainability. EWAMAC will drive this transformation through modern recycling technologies, strategic partnerships, and community participation, ensuring that waste becomes a source of wealth rather than a burden.

I envision a future where our streets remain spotless, our drainage systems flow freely, and our environment fosters good health and dignity. At the same time, I see opportunities where discarded materials are repurposed into useful products, creating jobs and empowering our people.

Through discipline, innovation, and shared responsibility, EWAMAC will build an Imo State where cleanliness is a way of life, and where sustainability and economic empowerment go hand in hand.
